Aliye Akarsu-Atakan is a specialist Clinical Psychologist with over 20 years experience gained from working in psychiatric, general medical and private settings. Aliye works primarily with adults and adolescents using a cognitive behavioural therapy framework and clinical hypnosis.

Aliye aimes to, assess, diagnose and treat a wide range of issues and problems some of which include: anxiety disorders, addictive behaviours, depression, trauma, pain management, relationship problems and sexual disorders. Aliye also has qualifications in clinical hypnosis that she utilises with various problem areas.

She is regarded as an ethical, compassionate, non-judgmental and supportive therapist.

Aliye is a bilingual Turkish speaker and her practice is sensitive to the needs of people from various ethnic backgrounds
